The Things She Dreams

No, really.

I'm working on another story. Yes, another one. Not The Four Demons of Ganpai, or The Exiled, or the Monsters of Babylon. Though none of those are abandoned, thank you very much. Just on hold. (I put more things on hold than the worst of radio stations, but with far better music and less frequent "your call is important to us" messages.)

This happens to be a story that came to me about seven years ago, and it happened to be so completely eye-gougingly aweful that I abandoned it until a couple of weeks ago.

And suddenly I got inspired to try my hand at it again. And apparently 18-year-old me can do a whole lot of things that 12-year-old me couldn't do worth squat. Go figure.

So here's another try. I happen to think it's semidecent... especially since I still remember some of the original drafts (shudder). You can read it, if you are so inclined. And don't worry, she doesn't stay emo for more than a few chapters.

Just for the heck of it, where are you from? Who actually reads what this little fanfic author has to say?

Let's see, just for kicks.

OC Dilemma...

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
writing solitaire

Dear reader,

It seems I have a minor problem. I've looked back on my writing, and finally fessed up to the awful truth: I lack originality. I have a short handful of OCs, which I inadvertently recycle as it suits me.

But, as things go, Spring Break is coming up, and I'm moving into a new room, and I want to have a fresh start. To me, that means a new OC to sponsor--and hopefully, having a new character to play with will give me the inspiration to write more.

So here's the help I need: If you can give me any kind of suggestions for an OC--gender, ethnicity, occupation, whatever. Any kind of inspiration or idea you might have would be infinitely appreciated.

Ever your humble servant,
Masako Moonshade

Oh yes. Idiotic, Yes.

But so much fun.

It took me forever to find one with references I could actually understand.

Aside from these, I'm working on a Riku Replica.X.Namine ficlet for 1sentence, I'm evading my homework, I'm trying hard to beat the Riku level of Chain of Memories, and otherwise am juggling several plotlines: Aren, Cerberus/Kendra Pandora, Moonshade, and Daimyo.

Will I ever finish any of them? I sure hope so.

Which fantasy class are you?

Swordmaster-You are usually quiet, pretty much only talking to your close friends. You enjoy beauty and peace, but sometimes it just feels good to run somebody through on your blade. In battle, you carefully pick out your targets, then artfully eliminate them. Your favorite weapons are katanas, scimitars, and longswords.

Whats inside your soul? Boys and Girls (PICS)

You are quite expressive and thoughtful. You see the world in a way that others are blind to.You are a grounded person, but you also leave room for imagination and dreams. You feet may be on the ground, but you're head is in the clouds. But be careful dont fly so high. You see yourself with pretty objective eyes. How you view yourself is almost exactly how other people view you. That is because you are your true self to you and others. Your near future is likely to be filled with great successes and accomplishments. You just need to figure out how to get there. For you, falling in love is all about the adventure and uncertainty. You can only fall in love with someone who keeps you guessing. Interesting!!!Your fun, we should me friends.

This Time Imperfect, Chapter 2

AN: Well, Kya evidently liked the first chapter, so here's more. Again, dedicated to her. And the nameless character...if found, please forward him to me. :)

Story: This Time Imperfect: The Revenge of a Mary Sue

Dedicated to Kya, who prompted this little bit of writing.

Note: The entirety of this fic will be posted here, since I don't think it appropriate to post on FF.Net. The question of the day is this: Does a Mary Sue know who she is? And if she does, how does she feel about her destiny of ridicule? Please, leave reviews. I want to know how you all feel about this.

My Friend Voldemort has been updated. That is WONDERFUL news, I must say...especially seeing as it's been more than a year since the last chapter.

...please don't kill/shoot/lynch/harm me in any way. I'll get the next chapter up as soon as physically possible. Which means that I can make no promises. Hopefully, it'll be up before this time next year.

Yes. I am...well, I'm breathing, at least. Just got back from my job--the third one I've had at my age. Which, in and of itself, is quite sad.

Let's see. If somebody would give me a link to the latest Avatar: the last Airbender's new episode, The Secret of the Fire Nation, I would be most pleased. And the last three episodes of Ouran High School Host Club, too, while you're at it. Those make me happy.

Writing? You bet I am. I'm currently working on updating my ancient story, My Friend Voldemort. I'm serious. It's almost two years old now. But it is being worked on, so that's happy.

(Even though I do have this awesome scene in my head ((Which will never happen, thank whoever you worship)) in which Sarah is shot, takes those first steps into her grave, and then Voldemort selflessly plunges them both into a magical time-freeze while a good pre-Voldemort friend of his looks for a surgeon that can be bribed/threatened/coerced into performing open-heart-surgery on Sarah.) Aren't you glad I'm not planning on EVER putting that into the story? Aren't you finished wondering who/what I am?

I love you too.

Your humble servant,
Masako Moonshade.

Shen wouldn't mention it. Ever.
On pain of death.
He would never speak to the other servants of this horrible, awful secret, nor of the consequences that would follow such a foolish action.
He was little short of a Great Spirit, and would know instantly if he had been revealed- and punishment would fall even faster. In fact, he probably knew that Shen had made the discovery, and only remained silent to test his faith and loyalty.
So Shen kept his mouth shut, and pretended not to see.
After all, it was improper for the Fire Lord to juggle.
